The Days Where Kids Will Be Happy But May End Up Sad....

First and foremost,Happy New Year to all chinese bloggers!

Ah...the 3 days of collecting red packets from your relatives after greeting them with little sentences.Its a day where many kids will enjoy,especially at the end of the day,slowly unwrapping the red packets to see how much money their relatives had gave.

HOWEVER,in some cases,after the end of the day,their parents would storm right into their rooms,snatching away their hong bao money and saying they will put the money into their bank account.It can be good if you own an ATM card but otherwise,get ready to kiss your money goodbye....

1st Day.....

Since it was Sunday,we had to attend mass in a long while.Nothing much change(including me falling asleep when the Father is preching...)then we went to visit my paternal relatives since my grandmom lives at the other side of Bishan,so its quite convenient for us actually!

Ah...No Communication Barrier

If I have to choose which relatives I prefer...I would say my paternal ones.They are quite an enjoyable bunch even though I'm still anti-social towards them.Actually I don't prefer to talk during visiting...Well at least majority of them speaks English thus no communication problem since I suck at speaking Chinese.They also know quite alot about sport so they would talk about betting or soccer(including the aunts too!)and one of my uncles is working in NYP!Even one of my nephews(about 10yrs old) plays Maple!Quite astonishing actually,someone his age knows Maple even though I quit MS...

Oh Great......

Our visit to my paternal relatives was shortlived.We had to go off to visit my mom's relatives....Well there is a few things to look forward to and a few to run away from...

Seriously..Chinese...Not My Forte

Most of my aunts and uncles speak Mandarin thus when they approach me for conversations.I would just politely nod my head while they continue talking....

Grinch Family Not There

Well...the noise level dropped drastically,and there was less movement to distract me...

First Aunt(A Master In Persuasion)

Argh...one of the things I dislike visiting was my first aunt.She would keep offering food to everybody.Even though the whole family knows my picky food selection,she seems to be the one that doesn't know since she yesterday forced me to eat Shark's fin after I told her I wasn't hungry since I ate my lunch before arriving.

Luckily,I wasn't the only one that noticed her persuading skills.My cousin,Eileen helped me out by taking some of my share.Thanks!She is quite a nice person actually,so is her husband,Zahid.They don't mind letting us borrow some of their dvds and we could talk about electronics...

Need More Time!

Just shifted into my new house in Bishan!Yay...after a long wait of a few months,our house is done and we took quite a while to settle in completely. Now we are just lacking the food supplies and some electrical stuff....

The Days Go By...

I gonna pretty much summarise the past few days since didn't really happen much.

Monday - learn 3D max,which was cool,somehow find it more troublesome but more useful things than Maya.Get to watch Spirited Away! during storyboarding and during Digi,we get to see the good and the bad for tracing in illustrator!Stay back after school to do AF,Sab and Di were stressed out and were at the point of breakind down.Sam luckily managed to cheer them up,with the theme of.....Mr. Softee!

Tuesday - completed the folding box!Yay..finally!and my new challenge for the new assignment of the walk cycle is to render it into Sora! or Riku! During break,we teased a certain someone with 'Xiao F' before heading to Typo.Didn't make much progress but scribbles of my movie title and....creating my name near completion.

The Sacred Place!

What kind of sacred place is this!!I have to sit right in front....this sucks lor!The test was pretty alright since those questions I stumble,I pretty much just whack an answer so as to get out of the lecture hall early...

CNY Shopping

We went to Dhoby Ghaut first,since I wanted to buy some anime collectibles to fill up the tons of space in my display case.When we arrived there,we got to see tons of figurines..Sam was going gaga over Ichigo 100% dolls,while Wilson is lookin at Naruto and Bleach.Poor Yh was just left to walk around the shop....I bought more BLEACH items before we head off to Orchard!

We first went to HMV,as Sam was going gaga again for Rachel McAdams in Red Eye,the rest of us went to look for shows we are trying to find.Wilson bought Spirited Away..-_- while I still couldn't find The Mighty Ducks Trilogy....T_T.Sam guided me to 77th street where I bought a pair of jeans and a nice black shirt.....

More walking and talking,then our final destination is Far East.While we were exploring the shops at basement,I couldn't take my eyes off the graffiti walls,curious what everyone had wrote on the wall and found a few interesting things...

After browsing several shops,and leaving one that persuaded me to try wearing a couple of jeans when I wanted only one....even though I have to say the customer service is good but I just don't like people shoving stuff to me when I already decided what I wanted.Pity he chose the wrong guy to give good service to.

After the shopping,went straight home!haha! I went home earlier than Wil since I now stay in Bishan....anyway..want to thank the guys for accompanying me to buy my CNY clothes...appreciate it!

Soo...Tired...

Foldin Boxes Ain't My Thang Ya Know!

Ugh...I went to school at about 8.30am,to do my animation!Since I was lagging behind,I had to do some major catch-up to others.Kain Ming later arrived,followed by Wilson,Joan,Sam and others soon flood into the cramp space we have since there was a class being conducted while we were in the animation room.

Now Wrapping Presents..Its A Different Story...

Sam,Yee Hoong and I haven't wrapped the books we were assigned to wrap,for Joanne's birthday present.Luckily Sam brought both duct and scotch tapes,and some additional papers for wrapping.Well Joan and Sab ordered us never to use wrapping paper for Joanne's present,and to wrap it with 5 layers.In addition,Sam came up with a sadistic plan...

A Present You Wish You Never Have To Open..

Sam wrap the present in duct tape after wrapping it with paper.Thus,it is hard to rip it open...muhaha.Further on,Sam left me in charge of wrapping the last layer of his present.I continued wrapping it with duct tape,about 2-3 layers worth of duct tape,making it require brute strength to merely tackle the outer layer...LOL

Time Limit Started...

Shite!Joanne was coming.Joan with her quick thinking which is like WOW! Lied to Joanne about her waking up late,asking her to find Sab and Dee so as to stall her.We rush to the drawing room for a little entertainment for our birthday girl...

Time To Test Your Eye Power!

We hid the presents in different spots,some very well hidden.Edwin even suggested some nice spots as we ask for his assistance.When she arrived,Joan hid then surprised her!haha,well she did manage to find all the presents after a long while,with much persuading for more hints.

A NEW MODEL!

WOW,and its a female,man Amos must be feeling horny but pity he wasn't at the drawing room until quite late,since he had open house duties.The model is a female indian lady,I think she was the lady that accompanied the male indian model that posed for us last week.She was wearing a ring,so can probably say they must be married.(I observant hor!)Well managed to do some decent drawings but had one bad drawing!

Argh! It was like a top angle view,thus I had to draw her like towering over me since I had to sit on the floor and she was sitting on stool on a platform!Other than that,I got to look at my score,for a moment I was dishearted since I saw 5+ for my drawings,but it turned out to be Yeong Meng's one.BAHAHAHA! and I got 7 and 7.5!WOOHOO! Must work harder!

Lectures...

There wasn't any drawing lecture,so I tried to sleep but Joan kept irritating me with the balloon! -_-" We later get to see the best ones from each class,pitching their stories.Felicia represented our class but she didn't dare,well can't blame her since you have to pitch in front of a big crowd.There were some good and some bad,making me wonder if the bad ones are the best,then the worst one in their class is like???

We Aren't Advertising Pebble Pet,We Are Advertising The Girl!

The 'Gang' stay back after lecture to finish up our story.Well Yeong Meng wasn't included since he won't lift a finger in making progress.We finish our story quite slowly since we left a couple of shots.We proceeded onto colour choices for our characters,and I say,Wilson did a fine job redesigning the girl!However Sam wasn't too happy,insisting we should enlarge her *cough*

Soon he became overboard,asking Wilson to make her @ss more visible.What is wrong with this guy!Well later on,Wilson decided to draw a more mature version of the girl,her skin being more exposed,her *cough* bigger.Sam's horny radar became active,persuading Wilson to remove her shirt.We all started talking so loud about it,that we attract attention from strangers who were all girls.LOL.



I Seriously Need Something To Hit The Spot

I had to go to school early morning,about 8 plus to do my animation,being sleepy and tired.I managed to finish up the 3 sides folding up and down.Good work Good work...

Wilson decided to pop by to visit me before going to lecture but it was shortlived since I was nearly done.

Walking Isn't As Easy As It Seems

We were briefed on our new animation assignment.We have to animate a character walking on a treadmill.Seems easy,the layout is alright but I'm planning to draw Sora!That chap sitting next to the girl in the picture to your right.Well its a challenge I issued to myself so must work harder!

Digi Test Is Not Healthy!

We had to wait till 2pm for the computer room to be free of lesson,so Ms Amy could conduct her test.However the room was occupied,so we ended up going to block L for our retest.The monitor was so high up,that I had to look up at the monitor(guess being short is a disadvantage in this situation)Well I was forced to look up and down at the keyboard most of the time,slowly tracing the picture into details.

I thought we could do finish the test quickly but we did finish in 2 hours!That amount of time Amy gave us... :P. We went down to print our pictures since Ms Amy didn't have a thumbdrive. While Yee Hoong was helping us print,we were outside doing a pose that could express pain,happiness,sadness,anger and etc...

Well,Sam explained the pose to Amos and Jays while Wil and I kept spamming the pose!LOL...for more details,please ask the creator of it...Sam!

Back to printing,we printed our stuff and Yeong Meng left early,fearing he might be late for Intro to 3D make-up lesson.That prick forgot to pay us his share of the printing.Nice work jackass!Furthermore he didn't attend the make-up lesson!That...mutha&*%#@ liar!

AHH! THE LIGHTS...THE LIGHTS!

We learned more about lightings and bump maps.It was pretty cool to learn such things,sad that it was the last lesson before touching on 3D max.We get to play with texturing,got some laughs from Sam as he imported Daniel's self portrait : The African Brother! as a bump map file.

A Day Full Of Pencils..

Lagging Behind

Argh!I had been slacking on the folding box since I didn't go back to school during the holidays.I wanted to do it yesterday but I was released early so my mind went....ah f*&@ it..

So I had to rush my drawings,and see how was the flow of the folding.Turns out alright but had to do a new layout since my box was wrong...At the end,I managed to do finish the layout for 3 sides folding up and down.Rather fast in my opinion,usually draw abit slow during AF.

10 10 10!

Mr. Bhakta wanted to check our scores for our animation test.I didn't go for the lecture the previous week,which is when they check our papers.Apparantely Sam checked both mine and Wilson's,I got 10!A perfect 10! while Wilson got 9 and Sam got 8.See Wilson! I was right ain't I?Don't believe me!Yosh!Now I'm more determined to score high consistently!

Massive Overload

We all head Mac for lunch,the girls pool their fries together,resulting in a huge mountain of fries.I was doing my typo work,then this girl came to our table,asking us to play some silly game they are having at the small open area in Mac.She kept persuading Daniel,seeing he was rather fit,but he tried bullshiting his way out by saying he is a bowler,thus having a bad back.What a load of crap Daniel.....

Have Or Don't Have?

Sab then open a new topic,does Daniel have a girlfriend?Woo~...she thought he has since he mentioned he likes this girl who is also a bowler.We even thought her name might be Kitty,so if they were to bump into each other,they would say..

LOL....that was some funny shit but Sam and I kept refusing to believe he has a girlfriend,the most is he likes a certain girl.....

The Longest Time I Spent To Trace...

During typo,I wanted to search for Kingdom Hearts II font,there wasn't any to download,thus I just find the logo to trace.Turns out Mac was laggy,and it was the same Mac as yesterday(argh.....)Oh well,I used Yee Hoong's Mac to download the wallpaper that has its logo,transfer via thumbie then start tracing!I think I spent about 1 1/2 hours tracing it.Wow,my hand was shaking since I had to control my hand careful and the end result is good!Very similar the original one,will show a pic of it tomorrow and you compare whether its looks like the real deal....

Movie Trouble

I was having some troubles selecting a movie but so was Sab.She tried King Kong,after several attempts,she gave up even though I gave her a pretty good idea.By good,I meant riduculous,stupid but funny..She tried My Fair Lady,The Sound of Music then decided Wedding Crashers I think...

Oh well,we had tons of fun talking about some movies like Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle and Saw II even though I didn't watch the latter.

Maya test..

WHAA!I thought we were having our test during the make-up lesson,turns out they switched it today....without notifying us!Well at least the test was easy but I'm ashamed!The texture I applied on my speeder is.....gross! Well we got to learn a few more things about cameras...

Commercials Can Make Ya Or Break Ya!

We had a break,then off to storyboard! We get to watch 15mins worth of funny advertisements and some that has no link to their products.....resulting with a wtf face from me..I'm sure those funny ones will be stuck inside people's mind,might even influence them to buy their product!

We then head back to our room,to do our ad of pebble pet.Argh...we ain't that good at drawing that....'pet'.Wilson wasn't able to draw the girl nicely.NOOOOO~! He designed that girl to look so beautiful!We must make sure everyone gets to see her!

Macs,The Most Powerful Computer In The World?

Yeah right.....firstly we had an illustrator test! but what sucks is that we couldn't open the file.We were seriously lagging,even after we wipe the entire document and students folder clean....empty the bin of 8000+ files!We were still lagging!I couldn't even get into the reference drive...We have to take our test on Wednesday,so we get to leave early!

Wilson and I managed to coax Yee Hoong to join us,after a long time!Sam tagged along with us.However there were 2 pros so there was purely no chance to play...*sign*...we observed how they play then we play Daytona and DOTA!

A Few Steps Away To a New Beginning!

Today went to see our new house today!Can say it was just half way done but my room was nearly done!Managed to see a few cool furniture.Will only post one picture of a cool item,too many and it will become a spoiler for those visiting my house!


Thats the tap in our kitchen!You must be wondering how to switch it on....well will leave it to your imagination power!

Well,while I was stunned at our new house.It can never be peaceful with my mom and bro,both arguing about certain parts of the house.Well since I wasn't the one paying and can be easily satisfied,I just walk around the house with a O_O face the whole time...Can't wait to see the finished product of our house!

When we were there,we saw a guy painting the ceilings,and doing minor touch-ups to my room.Pity that guy though,he was all alone doing the work,even though work may occupy his mind but knowing you are all alone in a house,doing work is rather...lonely!

5 Weeks Streak Gone! T_T

After the visit to our new house,we went to church..NOOO~! T_T...5 weeks without going to church..all gone..T_T...There wasnt any mass so we went to the prayer room...

My Mom,A Master of the Kendo!

Well not as in using the shinai,but she kneel down kendo style,like the whole body weight rest on her legs.She had no problem staying at that position for a long time whilst praying.Marc and I did knelt the same way too,but couldn't take it after we prayed finish.Hmm,that made me recall when I went for kendo orientation,the girls seem to be alright with it,its a gender trait!EEEE...not fair one...

Back To Me Old Self.....

T_T, been getting headaches these past few days.Not only that,lost my voice on Thursday so wasn't really in a mood to do much.

Morning Call..

Ugh,had to go to school early,8am in the morning to do the final cut pro assignment.Joan and Joanne were already there,and they live in like up north! they have to wake up super early just to reach there punctual.I was about to do our work,until Sam saw Amos and Daniel's work,it was a combined effort.We called Daniel...early in the morning! haha...and questioned about pair work. Receiving our reply,we went straight for pair works. We were able to do ours very quickly then straight off for breakfast!

Strepsils Works Wonders!

Omg,I bought strepsils,hoping it will help my sore throat and it does! All this while I was just treating it like sweets...wow...

New Model!

After our breakfast,Sab met us.They mocked me and to the IT lab we go!We did the computer ownership survey while Sab rush thru her drawing sketches.We then go for our drawing tutorial.We had a new model!Quite surprised actually.The guy is an indian,and I assume the lady that was accompanying him must be his wife.

Oh well,guess he was still inexprienced since he couldnt stay still for quite some time unlike the other models. It was raining that day,and the air-con was switched on! Could understand why he asked Sam to switch off the air-con if its possible...haha

Close One Eye On Test....

Can't believe Ms Nop was practically allowing us to discuss answers.Luckily I managed to memorise abit for Q2 of Test 1.Had to depend on Daniel for the first,well didn't expected it to be the answer for Q1 to be that obvious.Anyways,after I did finished,went to the loo and sat next to Sam,so can assist him if he needed any help which he did.....

After that,went straight home since my sore throat and headache was getting back to worse....

Sick of Being Sick!

Skin Doc Specialist

Woo,had to wake up early for my appointment.However I came too early,half an hour too early....went to BK for breakfast then.Ugh,never have breakfast in BK!The bacons are too salty...yuck!

My appointment was 9.30am but it turned out I saw the doc at about 9.50am. My pimples are clearing nicely!Guess a couple more weeks then no need to see the doc anymore!

A Visit To NYP

I wasn't planning to go back to school since I was terribly sick. However,I decided to,to pass Narutimate Hero 3 to Wilson and treating Hime-chi a drink since I lost the bet. Inside the lecture hall,I lost my temper as I wanted to sit the last seat since I was going off soon,so asked Amos to sit first.However it was next to Ym.Amos refused and Ym asked me to sit,so I shouted at them to go sit down. For that,I would like to apologise right here to Amos and Ym for somewhat shouting at them.Truly sorry I'm.

Home at last...

After getting caught in the rain again early in the morning,I finally reached home,hit the bed for a nap for a couple of hours before playing Kingdom Hearts II!!!!!!

One Hell Ofa Ride...

Drummin Session..

T_T...today was rather poor.Slow reaction and my mind was dazing off at one point of time while playing a game....tried some new songs without auto-bass and pretty much failed most of them....T_T

The 'Gang'

I met Wilson in the arcade,then Sam came later to meet us up,for our storyboard assignment.....We had lunch at S11 after much squabble about where to go.We decided to use Oo-ya-peh-ya-som to decide who choose the venue for our hungry stomachs.Sam won after a few tries.After our lunch,I went back for 2 more drum games before we head off to Wilson's house to do our work..

NEVER!

For your information,ym was not invited even though he was drafted into our group.Since we left Wilson with character design,our advertisement was revised by Sam and I.There wasn't much for him to do,all he would be doing is just bitch about Maple Story and gay us whenever we left our guards down.....

Good Times....Good Times..

We were busy doing our work as we listen to a very selected variety of albums from Wilson's music library. We happily chit chat our way,with a variety of subjects.We even went to make the wonderful work(see previous post) as a wallpaper in Wilson's sis com since she was a big Miyavi fan...

At one point of time,Wilson's mom called home,as Wilson answered the phone,Sam was moaning loudly while I was laughing away.Wilson's mom questioned Wilson about the noisy atmosphere,haha then later on I got a more detailed view of Wilson's house since the previous time,which was the movie marathon,I only gotten to see the living room,his bedroom and the computer room.When his mom arrived,she offered to make for us a cup of fruit juice which I declined,while Sam accepted the offer.

Later on,his sister arrives home.Wilson commented on her make-up.Sam said if he was in Wilson's position,and if she have that make-up,waking him up 2-3am in the morning.The first thing he would do is do the pose in the picture below then smack her,thinking she was a ghost....LOL
Mega-Feast Dinner

We decided to go to KFC for our dinner.At first we wanted the meals of our choice.However,we saw a Fortuna Feast offer,8 pieces of chicken,2 medium whipped potatoes,1 small popcorn chicken and 6 nuggets.It cost a total of $19.90,a pretty good deal but there wasn't any drink.Oh well,we enjoy our share of the meal,showing very weird expressions and Sam spilling his mineral water onto his pants...making him look like he pee on it...hahahaha.Its a shame that I couldn't react fast enough to snap a pic of it.The good news is..I did take a snapshot of them resting after our meals....

Another Day,Another Rain

Oh crap,even thought I was expecting the rain to die down last night since it was drizzling.The clouds suddenly manage to refill their water tanks once again for today's downpour.Luckily it wasn't as bad as yesterday....

Another Fast-Paced Introduction

Seriously,after the holidays.The lecturers' pace haven't changed one bit.One moment you just switch off,its over....you can't catch up.Today didn't have a good start...gots the stomachache.It must from Wilson! or the Mac breakfast I had this morning.....

Well,apart from that.The lessson refreshed my mind about Maya and we have a test for the next lesson...*gulp*Well it beats having the test today,according to some of my classmates today.....

A Draggy Briefing....

I assumed once she enters the room,she was to let us start our new group assignment.HOWEVER,we had to do screen sketching...LUCKILY either the tape or the player was spoilt!MUHAHA...excellent.

Well,she brief us about our results and assignment....too draggy..TOO draggy! I was in the near state of sleeping flat onto the table,as I anxiously wait for her to finish talking.Well get to see Wilson's and Ym's idea for the advertisement...

Wilson's idea was nice,drawing was 'sketchy' according to him...-_-" whereas Ym's idea was er...to put it in a nice way..common and drawing is very....'simplified'.Mine was way outta point since I forgot to add the girl into the ad. XP

Swollen Arses...

Well Ms Amy said so! *points finger at her* Back to main focus,we were taught about Illustrator and very quickly brief us about our new assignment.Seriously,Ms Nop could learn a thing or two from Ms Amy about getting straight to the point...

Learn some new techniques from Ms Amy about Illustrator.Wow,and to think Illustrator was just used for typo only,can actually be put to good use...and Photoshop still rocks in my opinion..Well spent the whole day learning and trying...somewhat boring later on.Luckily I managed to download the Intro CG for Kingdom Hearts II...sweetttt....watched it during class

See What See!

During Digi,a whole horde of secondary students walk pass by our class.Guess they are on some school field trip to see the poly life.However it was bloody irritating since they were busily chatting and banging on the windows.Those punks will get what they deserve if they join SDN being our juniors...*grin*...

Well saw a couple of the SDN club members guiding the students round the building...HAHA! The Pros And Cons Of A Heavy Downpour

It was raining heavily in my area,lasted from morning till night,now it is just drizzling..well lets list down the possible good points and bad points of the rain for my day today...

PROS

1) Hallelujah!

Woohoo! Today my mom wanted to go to church after a long while,but it was pouring so she decided not to go! Excellent........

2) Cool Weather

It was definitely cool,so save electricity bills in switching on the air-cons and fans.

3) Free Water

Not for me...but those who intend to get your cars wash,forget about it,the rain is washing your car,and for free!no effort needed.Talk about there's no such thing as free lunch in this world....

CONS

1) Jail

I'm stuck at home the whole day!T_T,well technically I did managed to get out of the house,but it was to buy food and sent my mom to the clinic....

2)Too Cool...Too Cool

Omg! it was starting to freeze up in here,especially my feet,since you know,cold air sinks(science stuff)Can't bitch much about it,only way is...avoid any contact with the floor! unless necessary.....

Well..thats pretty much what I can think of right now.My mind is still corrupted by Kingdom Hearts II...Anyways,hope yall had fun being stuck inside your house if your area had encountered a whole day worth of downpour..

After a long while,soccer was back on! since we managed to get enough people to play BUT it was raining this morning.Thus it was canceled T_T,to further compound on my misery.We have a match next week,we are severly lacking match practice so how on earth are we going to win!

Killing Time

I pretty much spend the whole morning playing World of Warcraft till early afternoon.After that tried surfing the web,but wasted merely less than an hour.....so I went back in time,the time when I was still hooked into PS2

Kingdom Hearts II!!!!!

Didn't get to play much after I bought.Well was interested in the story but the japanese version of the game was just only released.But what the hell..am also interested in the gameplay.The game is so cooool~! Playing in different Disney worlds,and get to see Squaresoft characters(Final fantasy series)OMG..I'm officially addicted to the game!haha,you can tell by my new blogskin,and the crazy spamming of Passion - Utada Hikaru,which is the song for the game!haha.....

Visiting Hours Are Open!

We received a shocking visit from the mother of the family that just recently bought the house.She was apparantely quite bored at home,so she came by to visit my mom.She also asked about our faith,so my mom gave her a recommendation to this person,whom I don't know since I dont give pretty much a damm about our religion besides going to church every sunday....

A while later on,my uncle and aunt came by to visit as it was along the way.I thought its gonna be quite a rowdy affair,as I assumed they will be bringing my cousins along.Why I say they are rowdy is because of my cousins.They aren't little kids,their eldest is the same age is me,and the twins are younger than me by a couple of years.They all speak damm loud!Its like they don't have a control volume system inside of them.Well the eldest one is quite mature actually,being able to chit chat with the uncles nicely,but he just talks too loud at times.The twins,are quite bitchy,everytime scream so loud when they quarrel.To think I get along with them so well when we were young....

Movie Review

Serendipity

Plot:

Jonathan Trager and Sara Thomas met while shopping for gloves in New York. Though buying for their respective lovers, the magic was right and a night of Christmas shopping turned into romance. Jon wanted to explore things further but Sara wasn't sure their love was meant to be. They decided to test fate by splitting up and seeing if destiny brought them back together... Review:

An interesting storyline, and always like the acting of John Cusak,don't know why but just do. However I found the part of them finding the clues for each other was rather short so it looks like they gave up very easily. Other than that,their acting was pretty good......

Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Plot:

During the German air raids of WWII, the four Pevensie children -- Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy -- are sent out of London to take shelter at the country home of eccentric Prof. Digory Kirke, who happens to be the owner of a curious wardrobe. Peering into this wardrobe one day, Lucy finds herself in the snowy land of Narnia, which is mired in never-ending winter thanks to the magic of the evil White Witch, who has proclaimed that it will be always winter but never Christmas in the mystical land. Eventually the other Pevensies find themselves in Narnia, and the four children learn that they alone are the key to breaking the Witch's eternal winter. But while three of them trudge through the snow with some helpful Beavers to join forces with Aslan, the mighty Lion, the fourth takes a more treacherous path and falls in league with the Witch...

Review:

The ending was pretty sucky, as it was somewhat predictable after seeing a slight ,which was good but the witch's facial expression just before she died just made the ending dull.The acting and facial expression of the kids were alright,but just didn't like their voices at times due to their tones.Manage to get a few laughter and good blending effects of CGI with the real shooting.

A Little Exercise

Went to AMK Jubilee arcade for a little drumming exercise.After yesterday's drumming,I sort of got addicted to it.I learned to play Sobakasu,extreme without auto-bass!Woopee~!Learned a few songs without auto-bass...but must learn more!

Well today wasn't a blast.I was in the midst of playing my song then suddenly 2 guys disrupted my concentration by tapping their cards 4 times!....talk about being rude.Couldn't wait until they play finish since by then..I have to be in school...

Head back to school after that,grab lunch at Mac before the moment arrives!

Pitching....*gulp*

We arrived at level 5,and we had to pitch our stories outside the elevator,something I didn't expect.I was suppose to go first since Ms Nop stop right before me at the last pitch,but it turns out she started from the back...so like I'm the last to present.Thats quite f&@$ed up cause to end all the pitching with a sad story is...rather...sad actually.Oh well,presented last and Ms Nop suggested that everybody critise my work.....she must have something against my dyed hair or something....

Drawing Rush!

The younger model is back!Don't quite understand there is...rotation of models,my only guess is they need alota rest after posing quite a long while for one whole week.Today had to draw whole figures,no more hands and feets!But I suck at drawing faces..so tend to draw that last.. :P..well today drawing was below my usual standard..don't know why...the week before the holidays,I was blazing fast!due to my..new dyed hair!Guess the effect had ran out....T_T

Sleepy Wednesday

10AM!

Ugh....woke up early as usual,but this time I slept quite late,by that I mean very early in the morning,as I had to burn finish the digi files,took quite a long while for Fiona's work to download finish.Luckily the New Year training did some good.

Arrived in school to see Yh there,talk about resposible IC.Grab breakfast at Mac,then start pasting my works.Received my belated birthday present from Hime-sama and Fiona.Amos left out to burn his work,guess he haven't heard the late news from Yh the previous night.Sam,Daniel and a couple others were rushing to paste their works as they came in late.Amos arrived super late after burning his cd...so the rest of us were helping him,stop fiddlings with my new pair of gloves after that...

Test?U Call This A Test?

Went straight for lectures...We are having our animation fundamentals test...and the questions are all in MCQ...whew....well Bhakta suggested we don't discuss or copy....but..what the heck!We exchange answers,argue which answer was right and which is wrong then hand in our papers.Got to watch a little bit of the making of Bambi.I have to salute to Walt Disney,always together with the staff,creating new ideas,and working together closely.Nowadays bosses are plainly sitting behind their desk,waiting for $$ to roll into their pockets....

No Restrictions Assignment

After Animation Fundamentals lecture,we then briefed about our Typo assignment 3,the last one.Eric didn't restrict us as he heard alot of us complained about the restrictions on the previous assignment of E-cards.I found it was impossible at first,but later found it much easier actually.....

Final Cut Pro....

Most boring part of the day.We learnt the basics of using FCP.I find it is more troublesome than Vegas,and it is,from Marc's perspective.Tina was teaching rather fast,and always left the room for quite some time..so how can everyone completely learn the whole thing if the lecturer is missing from time to time?

New things for the new house

Hitched a ride on my bro's car(belongs to my mom actually)went to my dad's office to pick up some stuff....like a new LCD monitor!WOOHOO!and a new sound system for Marc....We were suppose to pick up the plasma tv too,but it was too big to fit inside our car..*sign*Thought could play the PS2 with the plasma...the graphics would be WHOA!Imagine playing Kingdom Hearts II on it....SWEEEEETTTTTT!

Well,at that point I was pretty exhausted,so I fell asleep in the car,with me slouchin towards when I'm asleep.But had to stay awake!otherwise would bang onto the car and need to help my brother navigate out of my dad's office...haha

Typo Psycho!

Got to see the guys' posters,and Sam was hell bent in improving his Jolin poster.We got a preview to Yh getting shocked,as we lured him to play this maze game,at level 3,if you made a mistake,you will get a surprised picture.Amos said it was from The Excorsist,which made it even better!Later on we were briefed slight on our new assignment and required us to surf the net for research.....but my Mac can't use the net! T_T,I was stuck bored with listening to my music and fiddling with Adobe Illustrator....to the point I was exhausted and came home ASAP!

Happy New Year Everybody!

Had only slept for 3hours on Friday night,actually more like Saturday morning.Might be due to the excitment of going to see fireworks!haha...

Woke up to play WoW,till early afternoon,guess I'm getting addicted to it,it surely beats Maple Story a whole lot better...my cousins came again,kept bugging me every single details of WoW..can't a boy just enjoy his game in peace!!

Slackers Day United!

When I reached there,was hoping Print Stop would be opened.Turns out it was closed for this weekends..T_T,I had to searched the entire first floor for printing shops.Found one but it didn't have matt paper....its ok..went to second floor.Found another one,have matt paper but no more A3 size...-_-".I finally found one that has both matt paper and in A3 size.It was abit secluded as it was located near the corner of the building.Printed my pic,then saw this chap entering the store..wearing tight shorts and shirt...it was gross I tell ya....I could like see the shape of his *ahem* clearly...I'm like OMG!Early afternoon and my eyes are burning!MY EYES MY EYES!
Told Sam about this printing shop,was assuming he would be going to print his poster,along with Wilson or Amos.

Chores,Chores and More Chores

Came home,had to do a couple of chores..but luckily there was enough time for me to prepare myself and head off to City Hall to meet the rest...

City Hall Truly Lives Up To Its Name

It was jamm packed I tell ya...it was already crowded when I arrived,but had to use the johns for a while.There were already people queuing up.I wasn't in the mood of waiting so I just head out,to see City Hall even more crowded than before...O_O...I decided to wait outside Starbucks,since I was the first to be there.Sms the rest about the new meeting point.Waited till everybody arrived then off to grab my dinner~! *stomach growling*

Food Junction...

It wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be....ate chicken rice and Amanda-san was complaining about my variety of food,can't help it if I like certain types of food.She play with the headwear she bought for me as a birthday present(big thanks again Amanda-san!)Chit chat for a while,then Cheryl came,but Fiona left to pick up her friends.We then had to meet up with Fiona and her friends at our meeting point.

Squeezing Past The Crowd

Citylink was packed like hell,as I guess majority of the crowd is going to the Esplanade,just like us.I managed to cut my way through the crowd,but the rest rather go with the flow.Afraid they couldn't find me,I kept looking back to ensure they still can see me..haha then later I had to slow down.....

Fresh Air!OMG...*BREATHE* YES!

It pretty packed at the Esplanade,with tons of people waiting for their friends there...Sam and Jayson were seperated from us,so I had to go find them but to no avail.Amos and Amanda-san help me,but in the end,we had to wait for them to wait somewhere inside the Esplanade then we will go pick them up.They arrived after quite some time,I even met Nicholas,Danis,Barry,Jinwei,Kai Loong and Jiawen there! Quite surprised to bump into them...haha.Talk with Barry for a short moment before going off to wait a little longer with the rest of my NYP classmates.Sam and Jays arrived,we picked them up,head downstairs to the open area where it was freaking packed

My level of cutting through the crowd isn't good enough T_T

We were forced to go with the flow,and sometimes we got seperated but by pure luck,we managed to stick together again..haha.It was hard to even breathe since I'm too short! T_T,we then found a place to watch the fireworks,and I managed to shoot a small clip of the fireworks...it was sweeeetttt I tell ya!Later on,everybody started spraying some foamy thingys...I was without a weapon!haha,coz I was too busy taking photos.Somebody shot the stuff right onto my ear(figured out it was Sam).Oh well....had a blast watching the fireworks.

Aftermath

We waited for a while as the crowd is starting to clear.We waited in case Jays is trying to find us as we lost him.There were a crazy bunch of people,just spraying anybody they saw,and some of us were victims of it(I wasn't!,muhaha)Amos wanted to check out the concert,everybody went there but the girls decided to leave as they wanna go home.We walk them to the mrt.To my surprise,heard this ah beng hurling vulgarties,so much for enjoying the new year....the mrt was packed as expected,the girls left while Sam and I managed to psycho Amos to stay on,until when the Mrt is less packed or hitching a ride on a taxi later.

The Waiting Begins...

We went to Bras Besah,grab some grub in Cheers,then sat ourselves down at NLB,and chit chat.Amos left about 2 plus,while Sam and I continued on.I wanted to take a taxi home,offering Sam a ride.He refused as first,wanting to stay till the Mrt is opens.After some coaxing,he agrees but the taxi line was crowded..T_T.Everybody was booking a taxi.We waited there,then this nice ang moh went round shaking people's hand and wishing them a happy new year.We continued waiting,until I gave up.We went walking round,to Suntec City,then Marina Square.Talking about crap along the way.We went back,and it was about 5 plus,so we waited till the MRT opens again before heading home.....
