gLee
What is gLee?
It is a choir which specializes in singing short songs.
Synopsis
The show focus on a ex-glee teacher who wishes to revive the declining club of his high school.
Think of High School Musical with less irritating cast and proper artistes with broadway experience or skills to sing, dance & act. At first I casted my doubts that a musical themed US series will get the viewership it desire, but I was surprised after watching the 2nd episode(I missed the first). It also shows how's life like for misfits in US school to bond together, furthermore the 'popular ones' fall from grace(talking about the jockeys and cheerleaders). They talk about love, lies, ambitions, and what kids would be facing in school. Belting out show tunes and chart hits from different types of genres well, High School Musical is a pale comparison to this show in terms of music. This show is a great light-hearted show for those that wish to draw away from the mainstream series like LOST,24 and HEROES.

Degradation of CNY ?
Has CNY lost its traditional values?
As we celebrate the year of the tiger (hence the picture),I pose this question, how different was your celebrations when you were young and now?
Has the holiday lost most of its tradition? Generations before us,Singaporeans celebrated the festive holiday by donning on red clothes, firecracks, preparing new year goodies, decorating homes with red articles (especially the inverted fu )and visiting many relatives.
However in the current generation, we merely show up in whatever clothes we deem suitable, with decorations and goodies easily purchase at any supermarts and visiting every relatives in a single day.
Where are the days where we take our time celebrating the new year on the few days of festivity? Now I see more chinese teenagers are working on the 2nd day of CNY. Has the idea of obtaining more money gotten into our heads?
What will happen in the future for CNY? Will more Singaporeans think CNY as a mere public holiday that will phase by and forget the real meaning of it? (which is to reflect on our past and what we believed)

Human Observation #1
. LACK OF AWARENESS
My encounters had led me to believe people are very slow in terms of processing visual information.
One example would be, a narrow corridor in a packed shopping mall. A crowd of sloths stand in the middle and start talking, despite several people accidentally nudging them just to get across. These people couldn't care less and merely glared at the passer-bys as if they are never in a wrong.
Another could be eating on the train, I saw a young man, stuffing down a bread whilst watching his PSP,sitting down on the floor. Not only is he blocking people way,but he is doing something which is illegal.
One might argue that when confronted, they could reason, "If these people are bothered by it,why won't they tell us?" Only a small crowd would only either realised or after being told they are creating a nuisance then they correct their error. Yes,everyone has a part to play in common courtesy,so why not start from ourselves rather than wait for another to act first.
P.S Speak nicely to the people who were unaware of their errors. Yelling at them as if they owe you isn't going to solve anything. In fact, it puts you in a bad light. :)
. FEEL THE BREATHE DOWN YOUR NECK
Another scene, I was at a fast food chain restaurant. People are queuing no doubt. I saw this person standing real close to the person in front ordering his/her food. I could even say half the body was leaning against the counter. I do not understand why one must go so close? In my opinion,I feel it is a invasion of personal space. Is it to shave a few seconds off to walk to a few steps towards the counter after the person in front leaves? It is a mystery....
.The Kiasu Factor
Recently seen elderly people often rushed right in front of the mrt train entrances, blocking or forcing people who wished to alight at the stop to squeeze through. We endured so much noise pollution from the PCK courtesy advertisements that kept playing non-stop at the MRT platforms. Teenagers and adults seem to get across the message but why the elderly? do they fear there wouldn't be enough seats for them? However, we see people giving up seats for those that need it.Labels: Cognition
A Perfectionist's Notion
A perfectionist is never satisfied, even with himself! A perfectionist's friends can never live up to his expectations. I had learn this the hard way, which reminded me of a scene in Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith.
Anakin Skywalker : My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count.
Count Dooku : Good. Twice the pride, double the fall.
Yes,one can very well use the exact same lines for expectations. I created a formula just for this.
Yes,the greater the pride, the greater the fall when he is defeated.
A lesson to be learn here, never ever be arrogant,be humble as a pie,
never be too stubborn to accept new things.Labels: Cognition
A Message to Future
To all my fellow readers, the once indifferent boy has returned!
Here is my message to my future me and any other readers!
People say never look back, only walk forward. I say to these people, keep your opinions to yourself! I decided to revive my blog just to post things that will be about my observations in life and not to tell the whole world what is going on in MY LIFE (only stupid teenagers and PAST ZACH does that.)
I glanced past what was the very idiocracy I was, and it made me realised, I had done alot of stupid things in the past which made remember never ever to do those again! So a message to u, the past is always full of mistakes, so look back, learn what you can before moving forward.
Cheers
